Kumar Vishwas, one of the three pillars of construction for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP party) which has always been known by Arvind Kejriwal, one of its co-founders.
Fondly known as a Hindi poet, Kumar Vishwas founded the AAP party with Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in 2012. He is also a professor, mass magnet by profession.
Revelations about inner disputes in AAP party
Kumar who expressed his intention of joining the Rajya Sabha appeared for a detailed interview and let the cat out of the hat for many AAP ministers who have been unveiled and exposed.
“I am a human being. I also have ambitions. I and a huge number of my supporters feel that I should go the Rajya Sabha where I will be an articulate voice against the BJP and the Congress. I founded the Aam Aadmi Party with Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. Yet I have never even had the tea of Delhi Secretariat,” he said, offering this as proof that he’s forever the bridesmaid, never the bride.

The AAP members will soon meet next month in Delhi. However, what’s to be noted is that Kumar was not included in as speakers. To this, Kumar said, “See, when I created AAP, it was not just meant to be an opposition but an alternative; after losing seven elections in a row, including the Punjab by-election (in Gurdaspur) with a historic low, should I applaud the way the party is being run?”
Leaders want goodies
Kumar also quoted a senior AAP officer saying, “If we had won anything, there would have been scoop to hand out some goodies. However, we have some leaders who want to cut down every one to ensure they get the goodies on offer. These three Rajya Sabha seats have caused chaos. In the party, it is called Reservation Against Vacancy or RAC – if you don’t cut the reserved tickets, how will you board the Rajya Sabha train?”
In context to the ongoing tussle between the top party members, Kumar hinting at Arvind Kejriwal said, “You decide who is insecure about me?”
