Apart from good food, this chowk won’t let you get bored as there is open theatre. At this Open theatre, seating for 550 is provided. This theatre was inaugurated by chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje at Masala Chowk on last Sunday. Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has developed this theatre in collaboration with Rajasthan Department of Tourism.
On the day of inaugural, a musical evening by Prateek Kuhad was organized. He is a Delhi-based artist with roots in Jaipur. Passes were required to attend this event. This musical night was attended by the dignitaries of the city like MPs, MLAs and bureaucrats. The first musical night at Open theatre not only entertained the guests but also enhanced the taste of food.
