Medical Aid worth INR 1.72 Crores for Kerala: CM Raje Flags off 3 Trucks Containing Medicines

    Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje flagged of 3 trucks containing medical aid for Kerala flood victims on Tuesday. Medicines worth INR 1.72 Crore (commercial value approx INR 3 Crores) and a medical officer team sent to Kerala. Kerala flooding

    Raje said, ‘It’s necessary that everyone should contribute to aid Kerala in this tough situation. So we are sending this medical aid along with medical officers.’ CM Raje flagged off these trucks on Tuesday afternoon from Swasthya Bhawan in C-Scheme, Jaipur.

    ‘Raj government is pledge to stand with Kerala’

    Rajasthan Government already has sent financial aid of INR 10 Crores. CM Raje released this fund from ‘Mukhyamantri Sahayata Kosh’ last Saturday. Assembly bureaucrats have also donated their day’s salary to Kerala Relief Fund. Kerala has been suffering since August 8, the worst flood so far in 90 years. The calamity has claimed near 400 lives and displaced more than 7 Lac people. Kerala flooding

    CM Raje recently said that Rajasthan government is pledged to stand by the suffering Kerala and will help in every possible way. Medical aid is another step by Raje government to send relief to Kerala. Medical relief trucks are expected to reach New Delhi airport by Tuesday night and then will be departed to Trivandrum in the next morning.

    Many government and social organization has started campaign for donation.
