CM Raje announces 2% interest on loans to promote farmers using cooperative godowns

    Following the trail of activities to benefit the women of Rajasthan, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje announced a provision of low-interest loans worth 200 crore to women associated with cooperative committees.

    As per sources privy to the development, this initiative will benefit 3.5 lakh women.

    CM Raje made this announcement at the SMS Stadium on the occasion of Independence Day.

    Benefitting Farmers is CM Raje’s priority

    Farmers will also be benefitted from the slew of benefits announced by CM Raje. The provision of cooperative godowns will facilitate crop productions in the state. CM Raje announced a 2% interest rate for such farmers.

    Additionally, a special bonus was announced for women milk-producer cooperatives.

    A new Helpline Number for public

    A new helpline number has been launched by CM Raje for the benefit of the public. The innovative idea of launching a Rajasthan Sampark Helpline has helped the residents of Rajasthan to lodge their grievances and find instant remedies. The helpline will cater to complaints regarding water, power, issuance of documents or certificates, etc.

    Annapurna Rasoi to benefit all

    CM Raje also announced the implementation of upscaling Annapurna Rasoi Yojana. This scheme aims at providing cooked food to all BPL families at minimum rates. CM Raje said that these services will be expanded and kiosks will be opened at all urban localities in the state.

    Third phase of Gramim Gaurav Path Scheme

    Under the third phase of Gramim Gaurav Path Scheme, the state will witness the construction of about 2,000 cement concrete roads. Not only this, the missing links would be repaired from November 2017 onwards. A total spending of Rs 1200 crores is estimated for the construction. CM Raje also said that another Rs. 1500 crore would be spent under this scheme next year.
