Arun Jaitley not well; May undergo Kidney transplant

    6th April is the foundation Day of BJP but the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley couldn’t attend the ceremony. Due to his poor health, he is taking rest at home and operating from there only. He is suffering from kidney problems and many undergo surgery too. He is taking treatment from Delhi’s AIIMS. This is confirmed by Arun Jaitley through a tweet made on 5th April. He also clearly mentioned in the tweet that course of his treatment would be determined by doctors only.

    Arun Jaitley was travelling to London to attend the 10th India-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue. But he cancelled his trip due to kidney problems.  According to the sources, he has to undergo kidney transplant. In fact the kidney has been arranged. The operation will be undertaken with the help of doctor from other medical institute. Mr. Jaitley has not been hospitalized yet but stopped attending office since Monday.

    According to the reports, finance minister had undergone bariatric surgery way back in 2014 soon after BJP came to power in 2014. He is diabetic too.  He is currently on dialysis which is meant to clean the blood of waste products. But, for his situation kidney transplant is the solution.  In fact, he is likely to get hospitalized this week for operation.
