At a recently held election campaign in Karnataka, BJP chief Amit Shah mimicked Congress president Rahul Gandhi at a public rally in Bidar.
Noteworthy is the fact that Amit Shah and Rahul Gandhi are rallying almost in the same areas of Karnataka, a state which Congress is currently ruling.
In the rally on Monday, Amit Shah mockingly asked Rahul Gandhi to explain why he keeps questioning PM Narendra Modi as to what he has done for the country in these four years. He said why does he an account of what he did in 4 years, the entire nation knows what Modiji did in these four years.

He then took a jibe at Congress and asked Rahul Gandhi to give a brief of what they did in not four years but four generations (period for which Congress was ruling the nation).
“Rahul baba karnataka mein ghoom rahe hai. Aur jor jor se bol rahe hai. Aur zor zor se bol rahe ho Modi ji bataao aapne chaar saal me kya kiya?,” he said while mimicking RaGa.
Mr. Gandhi had accused PM Modi of keeping silent on the Rs. 11,300 crore fraud at the Punjab National Bank fraud involving celebrity jeweler Nirav Modi and the Rafale deal.
Invariably, Rahul Gandhi speaks on same issues repeatedly. He said PM Modi favours the “super-rich” and directed his speech towards the Lok Pal bill. Not missing out any opportunity of questioning PM Modi, RaGa also questioned PM Modi’s silence in the NiMo Banking scam case and the Rafale deal.
He also accused the Prime Minister of favouring the “super rich” and asked why a Lok Pal, the country’s top anti-corruption official, has not been appointed yet.
Amit Shah is aggressively touring the city for a couple of days now. He has been visiting temples, helming party meetings, addressing rallies, etc. The state has become a prime concern for BJP, who is turning all stones to clinch the Karnataka seat. In light of this, it was PM Modi who visited the state last week. Now, it is Party president Amit Shah leading the BJP flag. In the recent past, it was the presence of several other senior BJP ministers who have paid a visit to the state. These ministers include Arun Jaitley and Rajnath Singh. However, it was UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who caught all the limelight in Karnataka.
