The technical committee at the state level provided many projects worth Rs. 230.67 crores. This was done under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation scheme.

The last meeting headed by local self government, principal secretary, Majit Singh acceptance was given for the water supply, drainage, sewerage and green space projects.

The official mentioned that Rs. 161.19 crore had been allocated for six drainage schemes in the state. Te department has given approval to Rs. 95.19 crore for the Kota region, Rs. 24 crore for Swai Madhopur region and Rs. 10 crores for Sri Ganganagar, Pali, Tonk, Bhilwara and Udaipur region.

To provide the facility of potable water in Ajmer, the department also approved Rs. 29.88 crore. Likewise, Jhunjunu’s drainage project has been sanctioned Rs. 11 crore.

The bring development in the green sections of the state, the department provided Rs. 6.50 crore. From this balance, Rs. 2 crore is in the allocation for Gangapur city, Rs. 2.50 crore for Jodhpur and Rs. 2 crore for Sujangarh.

While the meeting was conducted, the officials had also assessed the work progress under AMRUT mission. In around 29 cities, the work of around Rs. 3223.94 crore will be done. The amount will be released by the center for the state welfare. Out of this, the LSG has made available Rs. 2819.79 crore.

In the previous year, the state holded first rank for successful execution of work done under AMRUT.

Improvement in urban areas is a prime focus and the Centre introduced this pioneer scheme named AMRUT scheme in 500 cities and towns. This report card was presented several months ago where Rajasthan holded first rank beating Karnataka by 15.20 points.

AMRUT scheme is an ambitious move of the state government with the motive of seeing, infrastructural advancement in the urban cities. The scheme has a base of public private partnership model and project the hopes of the state government.
