Four years after her wedding, Sunanda Pushkar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Room no. 345 of Chanakyapuri’s Leela Palace. After several months of investigation, the case was finally closed until Republic TV channel Head Arnab Goswami dug out old skeletons inside Tharoor’s closet.

Following the channels biggest crackdown on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Republic TV channel made shocking facts regarding Sunanda Pushkar death.

The Truth Behind Sunanda Pushkar’s Murder?

On the tragic morning of Pushkar’s death, Tharoor discovered her wife’s body in sleep. He informed the Delhi police that dispatched the body to AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) for postmortem. AIIMS doctors submitted a preliminary autopsy report confirming the presence of injury marks on Pushkar’s body. However, these injuries didn’t cause her death. The cause of her death was drug overdose. Traces of alcohol, strong medicines and sedatives were found in Pushkar’s blood. The autopsy reports submitted at sub-divisional magistrate’s office confirmed poisoning as the real cause of her death.

However, it wasn’t confirmed if it was a suicide or a murder. Pushkar’s body was cremated in Lodhi Crematorium located in South Delhi. The controversy surrounding Sunanda Puskar’s death deepened when AIIMS doctor Sudhir Gupta claimed that he submitted a false report under political pressure.

Meanwhile Pushkar’s doctor from KIMS hospital, Trivandrum said that Sunanda Pushkar didn’t have any serious health problems. In October 2014, medical officers claimed that Sunanda Pushkar died of poisoning. Based on medical reports, Delhi Police registered a FIR saying that Sunanda Pushkar was murdered. The case was under investigation since then.

Three Year Since Puskar’s Death, Goswami Makes Controversial Claims on LIVE Television

    1. There were discrepancies Tharoor’s statements prior to his wife’s death. #SunandaMurderTapes revealed that Tharoor sent Sunanda Pushkar out to get clothes. However, Tharoor told the police that it was Sunanda Pushkar who sent him out of the hotel.

    2. Tharoor turned hostile to the pursuit of justice in his wife’s death. Why didn’t he raise questions earlier or demand thorough investigation in this case.

    3. Tharoor returned to Leela at 11am after his wife’s death to hide evidences about her death.

    4. Sunanda Pushkar initially checked into Room No. 307 of Leela Palace but her body was discovered in Room No. 345. This indicates that her dead body was removed from the crime scene and planted in another room. The evidences were tampered with before the arrival of Delhi Police.

    5. It’s no coincidence that Tharoor misinformed the police by informing them the wrong suite number.

    6. Tharoor notified the police that he came back to Leela after his wife’s death. His rapidly changing statements indicate that he has a guilty conscience.

    7. Tharoor had an argument with her wife all night prior to her death—a fact that he tried hiding from the public eye.

Tharoor released 11 audio clips on Republic TV channel journalist Prema Sridevi and Tharoor’s right-hand man Narayan. The clips reveal that Sunanda Pushkar requested an audience with the journalist. She texted the journalist in the morning and wanted to reveal some ‘details’, but Tharoor prevented her from addressing the media.

After Republic TV released Sunanda Pushkar murder tapes, the Delhi Police immediately sprung to action. They probed investigations in this case. Contrary to this, Tharoor slammed the channel for spreading ‘fake propaganda for cheap publicity’.

In any case, these claims have certainly raised problems for Tharoor now. With the police trailing behind the real culprit now, if they find solid evidences confirming the channel’s statement, it can ruin Tharoor’s image as well as political career.
