To maintain transparency in educational institutes, this Management Information System (MIS) initiative was started on 5 June 2015 of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This MIS program was launched in more than 1100 government and government aided schools. This program aimed to benefit 1200000 students and their parents as well as 50000 teachers. By this system, the physical appearance of students can be maintained. Apart from this, details about their parents and siblings are also recorded. In this, student’s attendance, health details and report cards can be recorded. This helps in easy management of all details of a student.
Parents be assured of kid’s safety
For daily recording of attendance, students will also be given smart cards. Students swipe the card every day and the parents get message alert of their kid’s attendance. This is a great way to be aware of their kids movement and be ensured about their safety while sitting at homes.
