It is a good news for those who want to apply for the post of police constable in Rajasthan. Earlier, the closing date of Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2017 registration was 21 November, 2017 but now it has been extended to 30 November, 2017. The registration for Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2017 started from 23 October, 2017. The notification was released on October 18, 2017 by Office of Director General of Police, Rajasthan. Exam will be held on 7 December, 2017.

Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2017 Eligibility
A candidate must have passed 10th or 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths)
The age limit for Male is 17-26 years and for Female is 17-30 years.
(Note: – Candidates who are from OBC caste will get 3 years of extension in maximum age limit and candidates of SC/ST cast will be provided an extension of 5 years. The reserve category candidates of other states won’t get any age relaxation.)

Under this notification, 5,390 vacancies of constable in Rajasthan Police would be filled as below:
- Rajasthan Police Constable GD: 4684
- Rajasthan Police Constable (Operator): 402
- Rajasthan Police Constable (Driver): 304
In each category of Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2017, there is a 30 percent horizontal reservation for female candidates. If the female candidates are not shortlisted then those seats would be offered to the qualified male candidates in the category.
