Education sector is the foremost priority of the Rajasthan government. They believe in developing skills and making the youth of the state more self-sufficient. Adding to this, the state government will now provide coaching facilities to competitors of NET and SLET.
Back on Monday, the education minister of the state, Kiran Maheshwari talked about this at higher education council meeting. She said in the meeting that, along with the government colleges, they will provide coaching for NET, SLET and other state and national level competition exams. The unique scheme of providing coaching will soon be implemented in the state.
During the first phase, the scheme will be applied at 10 government colleges. During that phase, for final year students, 3 months and 6 months duration coaching courses will be conducted.
This is quite remarkable that, currently Rajasthan government is running cost-free coaching for IIT, IIM and coaching for national level medical exams. For this, free of cost coaching, the state government is spending a sum of up to Rs. 60,000 per year.
Registration will be conducted with the help of token amount:
The programme will enrol only those students who wish to take coaching for various subjects. These students will be registered by submitting token amount from them at college level. During the higher education council meeting, it was also decided that, in various colleges of the state, youth self-help plan will be started which will be bound by different stages. Career counselling, placement assistance and development of training cells are some other pre-requisites of this new scheme.
Employment Will Flourish With More Opportunities:
The scheme has been started on this sole purpose of providing more employment to youth of the state. Government also want them to get trained and conversant with the employment works along with the usual academics. During its pilot phase, it will be implied at 10 colleges and will be taken forward to various levels bound with phases.
