Rajasthan’s people are busy in bringing glory to the state through actions. Be it any area of life, these people fight and put the state’s name on the global map. Recently, Faja International Para Athletics Championship is going in Dubai. On the second day of this event, nine medals have won by India. Out of which 4 gold medals have won by players from Rajasthan. Sandeep Maan and Sundar Gurjar have really made the state proud with their medals. This is again a great achievement for the state.

On the second day, Sandeep Maan won gold in 400 meters race. Neeraj Yadav won gold in discus throw. At the same time, Mohammad Sarfaraj in javelin throw, Sandeep Maan in shotgun, Dharmabhir in discus throw, Jagminder Singh in discus throw and Someshwar Rao won the bronze medal in 400m race. Anandan Gunashakaran also won Bronze in 200m race. Rinku of India won the silver medal by in javelin throw with 52.89 meters.
In fact, Sundar Gurjar of Rajasthan bagged Gold medal in javelin throw and discus throw contest. Sundar had acquired these medals by throwing 59.98 meters in the javelin throw contest while 40.18 meters in discus throw.
Sandeep Mann from Rajasthan won Gold in 200m race. He had also bagged Gold in javelin throw and discus throw.

Paralympic Athletics
It is an international sport event where athletes with a physical disability compete. Started since 1952, Paralympic athletics is a disabled sport. It is governed by the International Paralympic Committee through its World Para Athletics subcommittee.
Faja International Para Athletics Championship is going in Dubai. This is the second consecutive year, this event is host by Dubai. Almost 450 athletes will compete from 13-16 March, 2018.
