The 40-day long battle which lasted at the Vijay Prahar has finally come to a halt now. In a two-day operation in the Mahajan Field Firing Range, which ended on Wednesday, the soldiers of the Shakti Command tried the air cavalry tactics. The closing ceremony of the maneuver saw in attendance a host of commanders of the Command including highly celebrated commanders like Lieutenant General Cherish Mathon, Strike Corps Commander Taranjeet Singh.
The maneuvers encompass the providing of fuel, arms and logistics to the accurate location where it is needed. They also exercised the intelligence, surveillance, radar, drone use. They also practised and devised ways how nuclear biological and chemical attacks can be averted effectively.
The drill was a sight in its own. There were para commandos descending from the parachute in the sky. There were enemeies which were hidden and camoflauged betwene the sand dunes. More tanks came in a few moments. They were also fighter helicopters MI 25 and Rudra, who dropped the rocket and opened the fire from machine guns and tank ambulance.
Lieutenant General Cherish Mathon of the Army’s Eight Strength Command reiterated that apart from Pakistan and China, terrorism is also our enemy. The chief of the army staff also reposed their confidence in the General’s statement.

The Bhishma Tank became the highlight of the drill. Lt Gen Cherish Mathson of the Eight Power Command sat on the Bhishma tank and reached the battle ground. The soldiers who were watching them were full of passion.
