The dreams of Rajasthanis are slowly but steadily taking concrete shape. The advocates of Rajasthan dreamt of an e-Library and their wish has been manifested into reality without much ado. A digital library was inaugurated at the Jaipur High Court by CM Vasundhara Raje and CJ Pradeep Nandargoj.

The digital library is now open for all advocates to make full-fledged use of it. They may leverage this facility to expand their knowledge and widen their scope of the study. The data stored on the e-Library will be available both online as well as offline.

This is India’s fifth and Rajasthan’s first e-Library. It has been developed by All India Reporter Private Limited. This can prove to be a highly useful tool for the advocates who would like to take references from past verdicts and strengthen their cases for creating a stronghold. The e-Library contains data about all cases dating back from 1914 to date. The cases are that of High Court, Supreme Court, among others.

Not only this, the e-Library will also contain subject-wise books from Central Act with Rules, 1450 for facilitating easy availability of rules to the advocate. The idea of e-Library was cultivated around a year back and has been developed to service the advocates 24/7. The e-Library has been constructed in around 7000 sq. ft area. Apart from CM Raje and CJ Pradeep Nandargoj, the inauguration ceremony of law e-Library was attended by sterlings and well-known personalities from the realms of law and judiciary.

e-Library

Prior to Rajasthan, it was the Rohini Zila Nyayalaya, Judicial Training Research Institute, Lukhnow, Lucknow High court, BCI, Delhi are some of the avenues where such e-Library is already operational. However, what’s important to note is that despite Rajasthan’s e-Library not being the first one in the country, it is the most advanced and largest e-Library across the country. The developer of e-libraries across India, AIR claimed that Jaipur’s e-Library is the most technologically advanced and is most robust from amongst all other e-libraries in the country.

The relentless working attitude of Raje led BJP government is evident in the quantum of accomplishments achieved by the state. The accomplishments are only getting bigger and more fruitful for the Aam Aadmi by the day.
