The sheer majesty of literature overflowing across the boundaries of Jaipur’s Diggi Palace, Jaipur Literature Festival is only becoming beautiful by the day. From inviting world’s most eminent speakers, authors, environmentalists among various other realms of the cosmos, to curating meaningful sessions which leave a mark and are not just a hot balloon.

If you have attended JLF, you would know what I am saying. But if you haven’t, it’s high time you attend the Jaipur Literature Festival 2018, which also happens to be the 11th edition of the World’s largest free literary festival.

JLF garnered eyeballs at notable celebrities who came in yesterday. These included notable actor Nawaazudin Siddique, ace director Vishal Bharadwaj and Anurag Kashyap. Today, i.e. January 27, the festival has lined up the most anticipated session of the festival.

Here are the reasons and the speakers which you cannot afford to miss you if you are flocking to JLF.

None other than the exceptional and controversy-surrounded, Shashi Tharoor makes his way into the JLF’18 today, making it thronged by uncountably humongous people from different walks of life.

Shashi Tharoor’s session has been titled as “Why I am a Hindu” which will have him in conversation with Arundhati Subramanium. The session has been timed at 5:15-6:15 pm and you could possibly find some time to attend this session which is going to be stellar in more ways than one.

The second session which is a must attend is Ashwin Sanghi’s session in conversation with Shashi Tharoor. The title is “Keepers of the Kalachakra”. It has been timed from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

The next session which you would not want to miss out on is the “Go Your Own Way: Pen to Publish”. The panelists will include Chetan Bhagat, Rashmi Bansal, Sundari Venkatraman and Vineet Bajpai in conversation with Sudha Sadanand. The session will be moderated by Sanjeev Jha. This session is slated to be conducted on January 27 at 2:30-3:30 pm.

The third session which will be a remarkable event for the girls who are strong, courageous. This session is named as “Girls Are Coming Out Of the Woods”. It has on board Tishani Doshi in conversation with Jeet Thayil. The session is slated to be conducted on January 27 at 3:45-4:45 pm.

“The Perils Of Celebrity: Soha Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore in conversation with Sanjoy K. Roy. The session is timed at 2:30-3:30 on January 28.

Another session which you must not miss out is not a session but a workshop. Yes you read it right! This session is a performance by the youth. It is a pulsating performance focusing on the “Breakthrough: Harnessing Emotional Intelligence”. It is timed at 12:30-1:30 pm on January 28.

Rightly known as the “Mahakumbh of Literature”, JLF is an amalgam of culture, language, drama, poetry and a festival which counts.
