Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra faced a cowardly act of stone pelting in Pipar area of Jodhpur division on August 25. Gaurav Yatra’s second phase started from Jaisalmer on August 24, and then it was in Pipar constituency of Jodhpur district next day. When yatra entered Pipar and CM was about to address local people, around 9:45 pm an edgy stone hit on the window of Raje’s Rath and injured CM’s security person, followed by some pro-Congress slogans. Later some stones shattered the rear windshield of Health Minister Kalicharan Saraf’s vehicle. Though, the pro-Cong stone pelters have been arrested by the Jodhpur police. This incident reflects that how insecurities frustrate the opposition?

She moves like a tigress, strong and fearless

It is understood that the people’s love and a warm welcome for CM Raje’s `Gaurav Yatra’ have made opposition insecure, but planning to stone CM is just a shabby trick. It shows that the opposition’s level has dropped in the state politics. Throwing stones at the chief minister’s vehicle is a cowardly and punitive act. CM Raje’s former ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in 2013 had also faced stones. Why only Vasundhara Raje’s rally faces stones every time? How can a party, who has an ill-tendency to threaten a female Chief Minister, talk about women-welfare? Now we know why the condition of women couldn’t improve in the tenure of UPA.

Here is what CM Raje said after the incident in Pipar, ‘They are trying to threaten a woman but have forgotten that woman power can’t be intimidated and I would be proud if I have to give my life for Rajasthan.’ That proves, she literally moves like a tigress. CM Vasundhara Raje has the valor to get among people, avoiding threats and security concerns unlike Congress CM, who had never dared to get among people to talk to them.
