The Rajasthan government is making tireless efforts to provide adequate water supply to one and all in the state. With the dream of seeing every person in the state has enough water for himself, there are a slew of innovative projects initiated and robustly implemented by the government to provide adequate water for drinking water and irrigation in all parts of the state. Chambal Water

Chambal-Sawimadhopur-Nadhipi Drinking Water Project Chambal Water

Now, the Chambal-Sawimadhopur-Nadhipi Drinking Water Project, which was started in the year 2005, will soon get water available to the city of Gangapur city. CM Raje reviewed the pumping station which was built at the cost of Rs 19.71 crores. Chambal Water

“Our government has revived the lift project that was launched 13 years ago,” CM Raje said during the public address at Gangapur. On this, the Minister of Water Resources Mr. Rajat Kumar Mishra said that the work of the project is going on fast and the water of Chambal has reached Mandiral. He said that 15 to 20 days water of Chambal will reach Gangapur city, which will provide additional 50 lakh liters of drinking water per day in the area.

Bisalpur-Bundi Water Project

Another project, Bisalpur Water Project was also discussed at the public address of CM Raje. She reviewed the performance of the project and lauded the efforts of the villagers, especially women. It was on May 28, 2017, that under this project, the drinking water supply was started in the Bundi area.

CM Raje shed light on all the other projects undertaken by her government which have been formulated to successfully resolve the problem of serious drinking water problem in the state.

CM Raje then reiterated the benefit transferred to over 11,700 people by the virtue of Bhamashah Health Insurance Scheme. The people have been provided insurance cover of Rs. 4 crores in the Gangapur City area by providing free treatment. Additionally, a sum of over three crore rupees has been distributed amongst the 10 thousand daughters on their birth.
