UP CM Yogi Adityanath to visit Monument of Love Taj Mahal after verbal rampage picks up

On his first visit to Taj Mahal, Yogi Adityanath is determined to put all questions pertaining to its inclusion in history to rest. Being the first BJP chief minister t to visit the Taj Mahal, Yogi Adityanath’s visit is being eyed in full grit and honour.

The 17th-century Mughal-era monument has become a subject of debate in connection to its place in history, the beauty of which is lauded and treasured by people across the world.

The verbal rampage brought to light the fact that the builders of Taj Mahal were traitors and wanted to boycott Hindus from the society. Considering this, the Taj Mahal was eliminated from the tourism-boosting document released by the UP-Government. The prime antagonist, Sangeet Som, who is a lawmaker by profession, claims the Taj Mahal builders to be ‘Traitors’.

CM Adityanath said the monument has been built with ‘sweat and blood’ of Indians. Taj Mahal is a monument of love which was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is expected that CM Adityanath will spend some time at the graves of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.

The ongoing rampage has become a reason to worry for those who depend on tourism for their livelihood. As a matter of fact, one out of four visitors to India visits the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Hence, the decision of Taj Mahal’s inclusion in the history of India holds paramount importance for many people, be it artifacts, shopkeepers or people in other occupations.

The larger question however is, why is there a need of rampage?  A monument which is a symbol of love doesn’t require hatred of such quantum. Does it?
