70 years since Independence, the natives look forward to a young and modern Rajasthan, a state envisaged by the honorable chief minister, Ms. Vasundhara Raje. For several years, Team Rajasthan has worked tirelessly, putting in relentless efforts to eliminate discrimination, injustice, and inequality from the society. On the 71st Indian Independence Day yesterday, this is how Rajasthan celebrated its freedom – freedom, which came at the cost of sacrifice, blood and numerous deaths! 15th August is never a dull in Rajasthan, anyway!

Honorable governor of Rajasthan, Mr. Kalyan Singh organized an exclusive Independence Day Buffet at Rajbhawan for families of freedom fighters and martyrs, political leaders, police officers, artisans, and other key officials of the state.

  • Celebrations at SMS Stadium, Jaipur

Grand celebrations took place at SMS Stadium yesterday. Talented young dancers, the BSF, army officers and school kids put up a spectacular show before the dignitaries.

The CM made important announcements to accelerate development in Rajasthan, including the Rajasthan Sampark Helpline 181, low-interest loans for women, 2% subsidy on loan under Co-operative farmer welfare scheme, and the inauguration of 96 godowns worth 100-MT capacity.
