On December 13, Raje government successfully completed its 3 years of suraaj (tenure) in Rajasthan. During the state level function at Bikaner, CM Raje highlighted the outcomes of state government schemes and revealed the development plans of coming 2 years.
Twitter flooded with thousands of tweets yesterday and #Suraajke3saal was trending for hours. In between all these, former CM Ashok Gehlot could be seen tweeting endlessly and throwing questions on Raje government.
Gehlot left no stone unturned in assailing the ruling government with his baseless comments. In his knowledge, there are no medicines for poor, no irrigation facilities for farmers, no schemes for women empowerment and no advancements in the field of education also.
But seems like, his rivalry broadcaster act received very little of positive recognition and plethora of back counters from Rajasthanis.
Before raising questions on ruling government’s efforts. Ashok Gehlot very conveniently forgot the “Bimaru” times of his tenure.
Refinery Project: He raised question on initiation of refinery project in Rajasthan but forgot about the massive monetary expenditure this project demands. As per CM Raje, with investing Rs. 4,000 crore on this project, there is very less scope of return on investment for this.
Employment: Exaggeratedly, he mentioned the issue of lack of employment in the state. In contrast to this, Raje government had promised for 15 lakh employments in the state and has already provided more than 11 lakh jobs in the state.
Gehlot government mindlessly splurged money on non-eligible pensioners. This led to heavy losses to finance commission, which is lacking behind from Rs. 10,000 crore.
Women Empowerment: Unlike Gehlot government, Raje government is doing visionary development in the state. Bhamashah Yojna is one such example of empowering women population of the state.
Food and Health: From 15th of December, state people will get food for Rs.8 per plate and breakfast for Rs. 5 per plate. During Gehlot times, Rajasthanis could only get low quality grain on the name of facilities.
Irrigation: Falling short on his knowledge about current state of farmers, he asked question on irrigation facilities. On contrary to Gehlot tenure, when farmers and rural areas were provided electricity for mere 6 hours a day, now they are getting power support for 8-10 hours a day. And of course, Mukhyamantri Jal Swawlamban Abhiyan is unbiased answer to his query of irrigation facilities in the state.
It is evident from these three years of suraaj that, Raje government is focused on grass root work of the state. Unlike, Gehlot government, CM Vasundhara Raje wants to build a self-reliant future Rajasthan. In Gehlot times, all we could see was, uncontrollable crimes and pilling debts in government treasures.
