A cheating syndicate was recently busted in Rajasthan when several candidates appearing for Postman and Mail guard recruitment exams were caught using wireless devices. The students were found to have wireless devices and earphones attached to their clothes in a stealthy manner. After a student was caught with the device, the police checked all the candidates and it was found that many students were carrying the Bluetooth device. In the interrogations, the candidates revealed that they were provided with a mobile and a device. They were instructed to call on a given number before entering the exam hall and within 20 minutes of the start of the exam, they were getting answers of the questions on their device.

After getting a tip-off separate police teams raided the exam centres at Mahesh Nagar, Bajaj Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Malviya Nagar, whereby the police found several devices like cellular phone, earphones, Bluetooth device, ear device etc. As per Police Commissioner Sanjay Agarwal, 53 candidates (including 3 girls) were arrested from Jaipur South. In addition, 16 candidates were caught in Jaipur West and 25 from Jaipur East. In the raid, the police also found one candidate with a wireless devise disguised as an ATM card. The card had an electronic device that connected to the ear device and the agent was answering all the answers on the call. It was also revealed that the agent had promised jobs for the candidates for salaries worth INR 5-10 Lakhs. The plan was to provide these devices to candidates who hid them in their clothes and then connect to a special number through which they were getting answers of all the questions from the agent on the other side of the call.
