Women empowerment emboldens with awareness, in the male chauvinist society. That’s where, state government has tried to put their endeavours with Chirali Yojana. The scheme is dedicated to a popular notion that, women are inherently strong, but just need little encouragement. To encourage the womanly spirit, the state government will put right efforts to overcome the society ailments.
With the help of community action groups, government strives to vanish the differences in gender based discrimination and violence against women. Child sex ratio saw great improvements during CM Raje’s tenure in Rajasthan. We have many women centric schemes these days running in Rajasthan:
- Mukhbir Yojana, which works towards curbing the female foeticide issues. Under this, people who report any sex determination cases get the monetary benefit of Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- Ashray scheme makes sure that, the abandoned kids get the shade of shelter.
- Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana and Shubhlakshmi yojana provides monetary help to girls of the state. From their birth to marriage time, it provides all possible aids.
- Then comes, Bhamashah Yojna which provides all possible aids for the main female member of the family.
On top of that, Rajasthan state received President’s Naari Shakti Award for “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” yojna run by center government.
The very basic causes of women related issues are less awareness in society. Thus, targeting the long prevailing prejudice and patriarchy is very important. Chirali Yojana in Rajasthan focuses on the notion that, women are not only powerful creations but holds a strong hold in society.
For this, government has proposed 15 Aparajita centers for managing the crisis in different districts of Rajasthan. Here, incidents related to crimes can be registered and solved at peak level. This year government has also shown a big heart in allotment of funds for women of the state. This year, it has an increment of 17.06%.
State government has been very visionary for women of the state and Chirali Scheme is one example of that.
