India majorly deals with the gender inequality issues and government is making all necessary majors in this direction. Following the Pm Narendra Modi’s women oriented schemes, state CM Vasundhara Raje has introduced a pioneer new scheme called Rajshree Yojna which was announced last year and been launched recently.
Scheme motive
This women favouring scheme is dedicated towards providing a comfortable platform to women of the state. The scheme has goals to make the state women driven.
The scheme will be applicable from June 1st, 2017 and will work towards building a positive outlook in the lives women. Government is hoping to bring improvements in the health and education levels of women in the state.
Girls born after 1st June 2017 will be eligible for this government scheme. For the execution of this scheme, Women and Child Development Department will be a chief department.
Scheme Details:
Under this scheme, at the time of birth of a girl child, a sum of Rs. 2500 will be provided. At the time of admission in the government school, the girl child will get a sum of Rs. 4,000. To promote the girl education levels in the state, the state government has decided to provide the convenience of Rs. 5,000 when the girl gets admission in 5th standard and Rs. 11,000 when she gets admitted in 10th standard.
At the time when the girl will pass class 12th, she will be rewarded with Rs. 25,000. Likewise, for every girl child, from the time of birth till 12th standard, the government will spend a total sum of Rs. 50,000. To maintain the required transparency in the scheme, it will be linked to Bhamashah card.
Only the girl children born after June 1st, 2017 will be eligible for this scheme and all other instalments will be applicable only if the first instalment have been earned.
