Canadian PM Justin Trudeau on a family trip to India

    Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has arrived India on 17 February with his family- wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau and kids Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien. He is here on a long trip. Along with his family vacation, he is busy in other tasks. This trip is meant to deepen the ties of Canada with India. There are so many things on his agenda like to hold bilateral meeting with PM Modi, meeting representatives of the film industry, Indian businessmen and Indian students.

    Undoubtedly, India and its culture have a lot to offer to the visitors. Its vast geographical culture makes visitors to go gaga and left them with a bundle of good memories.

    Canadian PM Justin Trudeau with his family made a visit to the Taj Mahal at Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He also shared the picture from the monument along with a caption. He mentioned that he last visited Taj Mahal when he was 11 years old. After this, he visited an elephant rescue sanctuary north of Agra, UP.

    He also visited the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Gujarat trip, he visited the Sabarmati ashram in Ahmedabad then Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar. In traditional Indian attire, Trudeau’s family looked amazing. At the Sabarmati ashram, the family tried spinning charkha. The locals at the ashram offered great hospitality to Canadian PM and his family. In fact, Mr. Trudeau described the ashram as a place of peace, humility and truth. At Akshardham temple, he interacted with priests and paid tribute to Swaminarayan. He also addressed the students at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.  There was also a meeting of Justin Trudeau with Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani to advance partnership between Canada and Gujarat.

    Apart from this, Mr. Trudeau will meet top business leaders in Mumbai. He will visit Golden Temple in Amritsar and the Jama Masjid in New Delhi.
