    At the 15th edition of HT Leadership Summit held in India, many renowned speakers came and discuss several matters. In the list of such speakers spoke at this summit, the former US President Barack Obama also attended. Apart from talking about the serious things, former US president showcased his witty side.     Obama knows how to cook Dal

    Mr. Obama shared that he knew how to cook dal. He got the dal recipe from an Indian roommate when he was a student.  He further added that he is good at cooking keema as well. When the interviewer asked him if he knew how to make chapatti then he said it’s hard to make chapattis.

    Obama’s friendly relation with former PM Manmohan and PM Modi

    Obama also discussed about his friendly relationship with former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He shared that Manmohan Singh supported US in the aftermath of the 2009 financial crisis. He also praised PM Modi that he has a vision for the country and has friendship with present PM of India, Narendra Modi.

    Muslims in India

    At this summit, Barack Obama talked about Muslim. He praised that Indian Muslim are proud to be part of India. The country has a huge population of Muslim that feels integrated and this is not case in other countries with Muslim population. Hence, India should respect, cherish and nurture this integrity.

    He also talked about his followers on Twitter. He indirectly shared that his Twitter followers are more than some who frequently uses it.  In his tweets, Mr. Obama uses punctuation.

    Democracy

    Former US President also talked about democracy. He said that the democracy is under threat today. He focused on the partnership between US and India and considered this to be the key. He also highlighted the power of the Internet. He called the Internet’s propaganda ability is destructive to democracies.
