Vasundhara Raje government is busy in writing new chapters of success in history of Rajasthan. Her efforts for the growth and welfare of Rajasthan are really commendable. Although CM has launched Annapoorna Rasoi Yojna 10 months back in Rajasthan, she he is now extending it. This time she extended this facility in Ajmer district. She flagged off the van today and said that this van would feed needy and poor people. Starting of this facility in Ajmer is considered to be a gift for Diwali from state government of Rajasthan.
Annapoorna Rasoi Yojna- A food welfare scheme
Annapoorna Rasoi Yojna was announced by Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje on 15 December, 2016. It is a public welfare scheme aimed to provide healthy and safe food to the common people. The state government of Rajasthan will regulate this scheme. These mobile vans carrying altogether whole kitchen will be a great initiative for the welfare of people. It was decided to operationalise 80 Rasoi Vans at the time of launch. Even there is provision for donating money in this scheme and make a social cause. People can register themselves online.

How will this scheme overcome problem of malnutrition in Rajasthan?
There are all kinds of income-generating people in society but not all can afford to have good meals. With the launch of Annapoorna Rasoi Yojna in Rajasthan, the people who are below poverty line can have good and healthy food. People belonging to labour class can get food at cheaper prices.
Details about the food
The menu includes delicacies made of wheat, rice, corn, nutritious grains and vegetables. Staple Rajasthani dishes such as Gehu ka Mitha Khichda, Besan Gatta Pulao, jawar ki Mitha Khichra and Dal Dhokli will also be part of the fare.
Every beneficiary will get 350 gms of breakfast while 450 gms for lunch or dinner per head. This scheme will be implemented in several phases. But in first phase, it has covered Banswara, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Baran, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Dungarpur, Pratapnagar, Jhalawar, Kota and Jaipur.
Price of food under this Yojna
The beneficiary under this scheme will get breakfast at ₹ 5 per head and for meal, it is ₹ 8 per head.

Is there any difference now?
These mobile Annapurna kitchens are working in different cities of Rajasthan. Including all the places mentioned in the list where Raje government has started this yojna, they are 73 vans. This scheme has benefitted 21000 people.
