During the proceedings of the Indra Chand Abduction case, the Didwana ADJ Court on Tuesday asked the police “where is Anandpal?” The court released Anandpal’s production warrant and questioned why he is not being presented in the court.
The police haven’t presented the death certificate of Anandpal to the court in any of his cases. During the hearing, Anandpal’s layer, AP Singh demanded the DNA Test of the person whose identity was disclosed as Anandpal by the police department. He asked why the police were not presenting the death certificate to the court.

Anandpal Encountered or Alive?
This year on 24th June, the Police had encountered Anandpal Singh in the Churu district’s Malsar village. From thereafter, many questions have been raised on the encounter. The court has demanded the police either to present Anandpal’s death certificate or disclose his whereabouts.
Charges on Anandpal
Anandpal is a most-wanted gangster of Rajasthan who was accused of multiple murders and extortion. The Indra Chand abduction case is currently going on in the Didvana ADJ Court. In the case, Anandpal was allegedly involved in abduction of Indra Chand, the chief eye witness of Jeevan Godara murder case.
As per the Police department, Anuradha Chaudhary, a part of Anandpal’s gang, kidnapped Indra Chand to make him change his statement in the court. He was abducted on 4th December 2014 but later he was attained on December 15, 2014.
What the Police Department is Saying?
Didwana ASP Gyan Chand Yadav stated that the post-mortem report of Anandpal has already been submitted in the court. However, the death certificate is yet to be submitted. The post-mortem took place at Ratangarh Hospital after he was encountered in Malasar village of Churu.
A letter has been written to the municipality and another will be submitted to the Sanvard Gram Panchayat. Post this, the death certificate will be issued on the behalf of Gram Panchayat and then it will be presented in the court on December 8, the next hearing of the case.
Latest developments in the case
The CBI was directed to investigate the case by the government to which it has refused stating that there was nothing to investigate. In addition, the petition filed by Anandpal’s wife Rajkanwar has been disposed giving a relief to Rajasthan government. However, the petitioner is free to file a petition again in Churu’s district and Session Court.
