As far as the stats and figures are concerned, the results are very impressive as far as the Rajasthan government is concerned. As many as 895 crores have been collected by the Rajasthan government in the last two financial years. How? The government had imposed an additional 10% surcharge on stamp duty and the extra amount collected was allocated towards cow protection, conservation, and nutrition.

Rajasthan Government is clear in its governance. It takes the health of Cows into consideration and factors in the sector’s requirement by increasing its cess collection. Leaving the cows (treated as God), to their own fate is not something the current Rajasthan government will entertain.
