Adarsh Vidyalaya scheme has been a peerless move behind state education under which schools were revamped with equipping all modern facilities like computer lab, practical labs and clean potable water facilities. In the recent speech, CM Vasundhara Raje mentioned about the progress happening under this scheme and said that 9,895 schools are in progress of revamping in the state.

Under this scheme, Raje government is aiming to build Adrash Vidhyalaya in every gram panchayat. Likewise, in coming 10 years, the state will have 10,000 full-fledged schools consisting of all good facilities. These schools will have facilities like high class computer and sports facilities. For the all round development of students, these schools will operate from morning 7 a.m. to evening 7 p.m. covering studies, sports and other co-curricular activities.

In every gram panchayat, at least one school is converted into Adarsh Vidhyalaya. Also, these schools form direction path for all other schools in the Gram Panchayat. According to the researched data, total 9895 schools need to be revamped and upgraded under Adarsh Vidhyalaya Scheme. State government is determined to complete 3097 schools by March 2017.

The key factors will be:

  • Large schools equipped with multiple activities.
  • Sufficient teachers staff for all standards and courses.
  • Sufficient number of classrooms, playground area for children, library area, labs and separate lean toilets for girls and boys.

These schools have managed to attract more number of enrolments making a rise by 21%.

In the sector of education, Raje government has tried all possibilities which is showing apparent results. Now, Rajasthan’s old image of a lagged behind state has been transformed into a more established state in all sectors. More, students are considering Rajasthan as point for higher studies. Education nourishes and consolidates the future possibilities. With Adarsh Vidhyalaya Scheme, CM Raje has attempted to form a pathway towards smart Rajasthan.
