#RisingRajasthan: Comprehensive Camps To Be Organised In Each District To Encourage Sport Players

Rajasthan Government has been relentlessly striving to facilitate a comprehensive platform for budding players, established athletes and all other brackets of sports players in the country.  Rising Rajasthan

CM Raje reiterated the need to distribute the allocated resources to sports players on time. For this purpose, she said special camps will be set up at the district level.

During the mass communication program at Santoshpura village of Khandela assembly segment of Sikar district on Saturday, CM Raje directed the Additional Chief Secretary Sports Mr. JC Mahanty to organize district camps. Additionally, CM Raje instructed the Mahanty to remove all encroachments from all training grounds and playgrounds. She also instructed the authorities to equip grounds with necessary facilities there.

The fact that Commonwealth Games has begun is no news but the news which came in today morning is a delight to the ears and eyes! Rajasthan’s Apurvi Chandela bagged the bronze media for 10 m air rifle at the CWG.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje while congratulating him in her tweet said: “A proud moment for #Rajasthan as our very own @apurvichandela bags bronze in women’s 10m Air Rifle! Keep it up champ! #CWG2018India #IndiaRising”

Likewise, Rajasthan player Om Prakash Mitharval bagged bronze medal in the men’s 10m Air Pistol event.

“Congratulate our very own Om Prakash Mitharval on bagging bronze in the men’s 10m Air Pistol event. #Rajasthan is proud of you! #CWG2018 #IndiaRising,” CM Raje tweeted.

Devendra Jhajharia, another eminent sports player who hails from Rajasthan was awarded a prize money of Rs 75 lakh. Jhajharia had won a Gold medal in the men’s javelin throw F46 event at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, by throwing 63.97 meters. He had also won a gold medal in the 2004 Athens Paralympics with a record throw of 62.15 metres.

Here is what Rajasthan CM Raje tweeted while expressing her happiness on the massive victory of Jhajharia. “Congratulations on creating history — 1st Indian to win two Paralympic gold medals. Rajasthan is proud of your achievements.”

While Rajasthan is gleaming with glory, the state government is introducing massive developments towards empowering sports players and facilitating improved playing experience for one and all.
