Udaipur Boy Kalpit scored a perfect 360/360 in the IIT-JEE Mains; state beams with pride with 8 more rank holders

    It is hard to believe that a 17 year old boy can score cent percent marks in IIT-JEE Main. Right? Well, Rajasthan lad Kalpit Veerval has combated all odds and topped the IIT-JEE Main list with a perfect score of 360/360.

    Can’t believe? The IIT-JEE Main results were announced today evening post which this exceptionally prodigious child has acclaimed horizons of unprecedented fame and victory.

    For the very first time in history, a student has secured a perfect score in the prestigious IIT-JEE exam.

    The extremely intelligent scholar, Kalpit who is only 17 year old hails from Udaipur city of Rajasthan.

    Although  was prepping up for his upcoming examinations, Kalpit managed to attend all classes at the MDS Senior Secondary School, which takes huge pride in Kalpit’s enviable victory.

    Shailendra Somani, director of MDS school said, “Kalpit had been an extremely bright student who also took keen interest in extra curricular activities at school. He represented the school at national level competition of the Atal Tinkering Labs held by the Niti Aayog last year”, informs the director of his school.”

    “Everyone suggested that I should go to Kota or Hyderabad for coaching, but I didn’t want to take studies as a burden. I wanted to enjoy what I learned. Thus, I decided to stay back in Udaipur and joined a coaching centre here,” Kalpit said while reflecting back.

    Kalpit is desirous of pursuing computer science from IIT-Mumbai. On being asked how he feels about the triumphant victory in the IIT exams, Kalpit beamed with pride. “I knew I could score the first rank but never thought that it would be the magical 360 figure,” Kalpit said.

    Kapil’s parents are working at government institutions. While his mother, Pushpa is currently working as a teacher at a government school, Kalpit’s father, Pushpendra Veerval is employed as a male nurse at the Government MB hospital.

    “My parents were particular about my health and made sure that I never suffered even a slight cold or cough. I used to study for 5-6 hours at home daily apart from the time I spent at the school and coaching classes,” Kalpit said.

    Kalpit’s past laurels have been a testament of his extraordinary intellect. Kalpit had topped the Indian Junior Science Olympiad at the all-India level when he was in the 9th standard. In the 10 th standard, Kalpit claimed the top position won in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE).
