An Indian railway is a landmark for its people. It provides employment to more than a million people. According to a survey, the report of ‘Swachh Rail, Swachh Bharat’ was released by railway minister Suresh Prabhu on Wednesday. Several stations all over India were rated on their cleanliness. The survey was carried out for 407 stations, out of which 75 are in the A-1 category which are considered as busiest stations as these stations contribute more than Rs 50 crore in passenger earnings. Amongst the A category, it covers 332 stations which earn between Rs 6 crore to Rs 50 crore.
Below mentioned are 10 cleanest stations in India.

Vishakhapatnam railway station emerged as the winner in Cleanliness Index in A1 category while Beas has emerged as 1st winner in the A category station. Also Secunderabad, South Central Railway, Telangana was the second cleanest stations in A1category.

Jammu and Kashmir station, Northern railway in Jammu bagged the third cleanest railway station in the A1 category, whereas Ahmednagar station, Central railway in Maharashtra was the cleanest in the A category.

Vijayawada station in Andhra Pradesh was at fourth spot in A1 category and Durgapur station in West Bengal in A category were the cleanest stations in India.

Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi was in the fifth spot in A1 category and Mancherial in Telangana in the A category were found cleanest.

Lucknow station in Uttar Pradesh was in the sixth spot in the A1 category and Badnera in Maharashtra in the A category was voted in the clean stations list.

Gujarart’s Ahemdabad station was in the seventh spot in the A1 category and Rangiya Junction in Assam was in the A category.

Jaipur station in Rajasthan and Warangal in Telangana was in the eighth spot in the A1 category and A category.

In the ninth spot it was Pune in the A1 category and Damoh in Madhya Pradesh in A category, while on tenth spot was Bangalore city in Karnataka and Bhuj in Gujarat fell in A category.

Citizens feel that they will see railway stations in better conditions now because more staff is included, more dustbins are installed and the best part is that the eatables are not allowed inside and CCTV infrastructure is also well developed.
