Vasundhara Raje 3 Successful Years

Rajasthan BJP government will be completing three years in power and the party is gearing up for the upcoming year to further work upon the development of the state.

Chief minister Vasundhara Raje along with state BJP president Ashok Parnami on Monday conducted the meeting of the state party unit’s core committee. The meeting revolved around the discussions about cabinet reshuffling and expansion and the achievements of the Raje government during the last three years.

Once known as a BIMARU state due to its low levels of development, Vasundhara Raje took charge of Rajasthan and soon transformed the state by introducing various reforms and policies. Rajasthan has topped the charts of investor friendly states and a recent report brought out by the World Bank also listed the state among the top ten states for ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in 2016. The government had started using transparent systems which resulted in improving the quality of business life of the locals.

Rajasthan in its 2015 ‘Resurgent Rajasthan Summit’ had witnessed the signing of 295 MoUs worth Rs 3.2 lakh crore which aimed at generating 2.39 lakh of employment opportunities over a period of time. It is also one of the few states to undertake labour and employment reforms.

The state continues to be an important part of the agriculture industry of the country. Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM 2016) showed that crops like mustard, guar seed, cumin, coriander, chana, wheat are some of the crops that dominates the state’s yield and made an important contribution to the country’s agricultural production. The government has been spending considerable amount of funds in development of irrigation facilities with substantial subsidies being provided to the farmers on power to enable cropping.

Interacting with the media persons after the meeting, Ashok Parnami said that the meeting was the routine monthly core committee. He said that the third anniversary celebrations, which is to be held on December 13, will be a month-long celebration and will throw a light on the government achievements along with various events as part of the celebrations.

The committee included state party in-charge V Satish and State Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria along with Rajasthan Health Minister Rajendra Rathore, BJP MP Bhupendra Yadav and Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Arun Chaturvedi.
