Earlier with Jaipur to Delhi express highway and now with low flight prices, Jaipur-Delhi commute is becoming shorter and better. Thanks to the private airlines’ ongoing internal competition, that the flight rates will get even cheaper. The economy class air fares for Indigo flight are starting from Rs. 1,200 in case you do advance booking. On the other hand, the charges for Jet Airways are Rs. 1,387.
As per the normal trend, fares during summer holiday season are higher. But, this year was different with more number of flights which has enhanced the competition, leading to lower price card.
A travel agency from Jaipur, Dream Holidays’ owner Rajesh Kumar says, “Airfare depends on the availability of seats and low fares for advance bookings indicate higher availability of seats. The spot rates, however, remain unchanged on the Jaipur-Delhi route”.
Surprisingly, Jaipur-Delhi AC Volvo Bus ticket costs Rs. 800, while Jaipur-Delhi flight is costing Rs. 1,396.
While the number of seats have strengthened in past one year with new flights in line, which makes the availability of flights possible in every one hour.
Presently, you have almost 14 options of daily flights from Jaipur to Delhi. While jet airlines operate six daily flights from Delhi, Indigo operates four daily flights on the daily basis. Air India has three flights in account and SpiceJet has one flight in its account which operates on the daily basis.
The data of Airports Authority of India shows that, the movement of domestic aircrafts moved up by 36% in the year 2016-17 as compared to the last year.
During the start of this month, the state official department signed agreement to bring improvements in the air connectivity of regions.
The agreements suggest the launch of flights between Jaipur to Agra through Delhi route.
