On May 7th, 2017, Deen Dayal Gram Jyoti Yojana Shivirs will be organised in the capital city for alloting the electricity connections to the houses. The campaign will start at 10 a.m. and will run till 6 p.m. in the evening.
As mentioned by Nigam, the shivir will will be organised at May 7, 2017 in 23 districts areas of state. The campaigns will be organised at Gram Panchayat Mukhyalaya and Atal Seva Kendra with 106 campaigns. These campaigns will take care of the electricity connections for the BPL families and other home electricity connections.
Apart from this, the campaigns will also take care of the dysfunctional water machines.
Under Jaipur Power Distribution Corporation, the campaigns will be organised in Kota, Dausa, Swai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Baran, Alwar, karauli.
Similarly, under Ajmer Power Distribution Corporation, they will cover cities like, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhunjunu, Nagaur, Pratapgarh, Udaipur, Sikar and Rajsamand.
In Jodhpur Power Distribution Corporation, they will cover the cities like Sri Ganganagar, Churu, Jaisalmer, Pali and Jalore.
The aspiring scheme of the government named Deen Dayal Gram Jyoti Yojana was nade to ensure the non-stop power supply to rural India.
The scheme has its name after Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, who was a respected political philosopher.
The scheme has a distinct motive of rural electrification with an investment of Rs. 756 billion from the government. The scheme has some unique reforms for the rural areas.
Also, following the digital trend, the Ministry of Power made available a new app named GARV-II for six lakh villages in the country. The app has been introduced to maintain the desired transperancy in the system during the implementation of rural electrification programme. The app will also allow the citizens to take part in the progressive works of electrification programme. The works will be sanctioned village wise after thorough research.
The aspiring campaigns of Deen Dayal Gram Jyoti Yojana are another milestone of the state government on the pathway of success.
