Seven Business Incubators Will Be Set Up In Rajasthan With Center’s Consent

Seven new livelihood business incubators (LBI) has been set up in the state for which Rajasthan got the approval from the Center. For every LBI, Rs. 1 crore will be provided to give the skill development in many trades.

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises union ministry reviewed the presentation of Rajasthan and then this permission was given. For Jhalawar district, they have sanctioned the LBI along with the ten traders.

Rajeeva Swarup, who is additional chief secretary, MSME mentioned, “With eight LBIs, Rajasthan has become the leading state in the country to have such facilities. They will come up at Jaipur, Udaipur, Alwar, Kota, Ajmer, Bikaner and Jodhpur. Our plan is to set up one in each district gradually”.

LBI are aiming at self-employment generation amidst the entreprenuers and to give rise to development of small scale enterprises in the service and manufacturing sector. With the help of LBIs, government is responsible to give trainings like food processing, account management, computer hardware and tailoring. Also, LBIs will also provide facilities to youths for getting loans under many schemes of the state and Centre.

Below are some important points to note:

• The centers will be opened in seven major cities of Rajasthan which includes Alwar, Udaipur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Bikaner and Jodhpur.
• These centers received financial approval from the center.
• The aspiring youth who are willing to initiate a business will training to manufacture goods and even doing good marketing with them.
• Also, these youths will be provided business managing training.
• The center will provide machinery and equipment used for manufacturing solar inverters, napkin, lamps, organic fertilizers, water filtrations and green house.
• Every LIB will get the grant of almost Rs. 1 crore from the center.
• For a successful business model, government will also provide loans under the schemes like Bhamashah Employment Generation Scheme and Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme.
• Loan installments will get 4 per cent discounts.
