The battle of powers is getting muddier day by day and the former SAPA head, Mulayam Singh appears to be in seclusion all because of his own son, Akhilesh Yadav.
Amidst all this chaos, the current party president is running in all win-win scenarios and appearing like he has stabbed his father cum veteran politician’s intentions, coming out all clean and empowered.
Despite being the party founder and patriarch of a political family, Mulayam Singh is so much appearing as isolated and kept aside, as mentioned by party leaders.
The politician father has been merely tagged as “marg darshak” (mentor) in the party and all the control is mostly been run by Akhilesh, with leaving very little space for Mulayam ji to introduce any of his manoeuvres.
The current party president and CM is savouring the support of 209 legislators and 51 MLCs. All of them agreed to give all support to Akhilesh’s leadership by signing the affidavit.
Also, on Friday, Shivpal and Akhilesh Yadav had meeting at Akhilesh’s place to figure out the possibilities.
The Chief Minister is clear. There is no going back now. He is not averse to his father but cannot stake his political career on the palace intrigues in the family,” told by a close source.
On the other side, Sunil Singh Sajan a follower of Akhilesh clearly mentioned that, the factions had no idea about the freezing of the “cycle” symbol by the Election Commission.
Also, Uayveer Singh, an another near to CM, MLC mentioned, “A lot of development has taken place under Akhilesh Yadav. People see him as a harbinger of good and prosperity, we will work on it”.
Currently, all eyes are towards Election Commissions’ decision that which troop will be allotted the “Cycle” symbol. We can hardly say among Mulayam and Akhilesh, who will get the original “cycle” symbol but the upcoming poll session on February 11 will be having a major impact on UP’s electoral battle.
