The slip of tongue is more often than not really a slip of tongue.  But a slip of words isn’t. The voice of the heart comes to the mouth.

Quite recently, Rajasthan Congress Chief Sachin Pilot became a victim of slip of words. Amidst the ongoing by-poll election campaigns, both parties BJP and Congress are making tremendous efforts to ensure their respective victory in the elections of Alwar, Ajmer, and Mandalgarh.

    On being asked about the Alwar elections, Sachin Pilot faltered and the mistake has cost him million trolls and memes. Here is what he said: ‘इन चुनाव से यहां की जनता पूरे में देश को संदेश देगी कि कांग्रेस का सूपड़ा साफ होगा।

The elections campaigns have begun across the state and both the parties are putting their heart and soul into bagging the seat. Alwar, Ajmer elections are necessitated due to the demise of senior BJP leaders namely Sanwar Lal Jaat and Chand Nath. Considering the dominance of Yadavs in Alwar, both parties fielded a Yadav candidate to neutralise the favouritism of Yadav community. Both the candidates whose nomination has been filed in Alwar have been MP’s of the district in the past.

About a fortnight ago, Rajasthan BJP chief Ashok Parnami, however, said Congress doesn’t even stand a chance. “There’s no anti-incumbency. We will win all three seats with bigger margins. Just in April, we swept the Dholpur assembly by-poll, a seat which was not even held by us previously.”

Not only that, Modi’s visit to Rajasthan for inaugurating the Barmer refinery is touted as a highly positive move to the BJP party. PM Modi visited Barmer on January 16 for laying the foundation stone of Rs 42,000-crore refinery project.
