In the hindsight of the monsoon season and gushing rains that have caused potholes on the city roads, the Rajasthan Government has taken up the charge of repairing damaged roads and decided to spend a sum of Rs 250 crore for bettering and regaining the roads infrastructure back to normal.
RUDSICO issues tender worth 250 crores
Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage & Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (RUDSICO) has taken up the charge of reconstructing broken roads with a government allocation of about 250 crores for the same. RUDSICO has been roped in to ensure that all tenders are looked upon and finalize upon the final construction company.
Deadlines for Tender Offer by RUDSICO
The construction work of these new roads is expected to be completed by September next year. RUDSICO will issue a tender offer on November 1, which will remain open till 3:00 pm on December 4, 2017. The application can be filed at the RUDSICO e-portal.

Pali Road Repairing worth 34 crores
DLB had invited tender offer for repairing damaged roads in Pali. City Council Head Mahendra Bohra informed that he had furnished a tender application for mending Pali roads worth Rs 34 crores. “RUDSICO will oversee the extent of works approved by DLB,” he added.
Currently, several RUIDP, RUDSICO sewage works are underway. After these sewage projects are completed, the government will commence the process of road repairing and construction.
