The role of a soldier is really remarkable as they are the people who sacrificed their comfort and families for the safety of the whole nation. We all should be thankful to the Police forces of our nation who assure us to sleep peacefully as they handle all the problems. Hence, when a police officer dies, it is duty of the Government to support his family. It is clear that a dead person can’t be given life again but the financial aid will be a great help to his family members. Thanks to the government of India who have decided to increase the bounty price for the martyrs.
It is a great step by Indian Government for the families of the martyrs who died while fighting with the terrorists. Now the compensation amount will be increased to 73 lacs. This is confirmed by Central Home Ministry of India. And the same has been given to the state home ministry.
How the bounty will be given to the families of the martyrs?
Earlier the amount given to the dead police officers was ₹ 43 lacs but now this amount has been increased to ₹ 73 lacs. The remaining ₹ 30 lacs will be given by Centre Government. Out of which, ₹ 7 lac will be given from Police Welfare Fund, ₹ 5 lac from Security fund and remaining ₹ 18 lac from amount given to state government.
Well.. this appears to be a great step for the families of the police officers who die while fighting terrorism. There are times when the families of martyrs become helpless as their only bread earners die. Now, this measure by central government for martyrs will give his family a sense of financial security.
