“Coming together is the Beginning, Staying Together is Progress & Working Together is Success”…

(CM Raje quotes Henry Ford in her Speech)

Armed with genuine figures highlighting Rajasthan’s development CM Vasundhara Raje delivered an impressive election speech during her reply to the debate on Governor Kalyan Singh’s Address in the state assembly yesterday. Lashing out at the opposition, the CM said that their team accepted formidable challenges and put in relentless efforts to fulfill them on time.

She admitted that they haven’t achieved 100% success, but that wasn’t possible anyways since the previous Congress government had left state funds in jeopardy earlier. “Where there’s will, there’s a way”. Keeping this in mind, the BJP government constructed a roadmap for coping with the financial mess and accelerating Rajasthan’s progress in key sectors like agriculture, health and education. Expressing confidence in her efforts, she claimed that the people of Rajasthan would support her in this decision.

Shutting down the mouths of oppositions leaders, CM Raje gave a befitting reply to all accusations:

Economic bankruptcy can be manage, not bankrupt psyche”. She claimed that her party’s efforts weren’t restricted to BJP strongholds. They covered even those areas where Congress dominated. Jhunjhunu is a fine example of this. Rajasthan Congress won 11 times in Jhunjhunu, as opposed to BJP that won just twice. Regardless of this, it was BJP that launched the ambitious drinking water project worth Rs 624 crore to supply water from Kumbharam lift canal to drought affected areas. They also prepared an action plan to get rid of fluoride content in water.

The previous government spent Rs 23.74 crores whereas Raje government spent Rs 24.27 crores. This clearly highlights the positive intent of the current government.

CM Raje Presents Rajasthan’s Progress Report in Last 3 Years

Raje took this opportunity to shed light on all developmental schemes run by government which includes:

  • Construction of roads (Gramin Gaurav Path) and highways,
  • Water conservation (Jal Swavlamban), purification and supply,
  • Opening of new senior secondary schools and colleges,
  • Revamping Kendriya Vidyalayas,
  • Distribution of two-wheelers to meritorious girl students,
  • Development of agriculture produce market,
  • Establishing Maharana Pratap Police Battalion for security in tribal regions,
  • Separate service cadre for TSP areas,
  • Constitution of OBC commission
  • Cashless economy & direct delivery of benefits in rural regions (through Bhamashah scheme).

Accepting Rajasthan as her family, their government announced 42 new colleges, 16 irrigational projects and 19 drinking water projects. Soon, the government will do groundwork for MoUs signed at GRAM (Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet), which was a smashing success due to participation of 55,000 farmers. Next, the government will attempt to resolve EBC and SBC quota issues as soon as possible.

Congress Left Debts whereas BJP Fulfilled its ‘Raj Dharma’ by Completing All Tasks On Time

When Raje came to power in 2013, the government inherited a debt of Rs 80,000 crore on power distribution. To settle it, they were already paying an yearly interest of Rs 8,000 crore that later got transferred to the succeeding government. Despite that, Raje government bore the burden of these debts and paid Rs 24,000 crore as subsidies in last 3 years.

Raje Chides the Opposition for Disrupting Proceedings in the House

This Wednesday, house member Jogaram Patel was planning to raise the issue of unethical recruitments in Jai Narayan Vyas University, but the opposition deliberately disrupted house proceedings to avoid blames.

Haters may Hate but they Can’t Deny that Work Speaks for Itself

State statistics reveal that Rajasthan’s agricultural produce has shown significant improvement in last two years. Even the per capita income has increased from Rs 27,000/year (2013-2014) to Rs 57,000 (2015-2016). Rs 1066 crores were allotted for the new crop insurance scheme that has helped authorities control crop damages. Consequently, the limit of crop damage compensations under NDRF (National Disaster Relief Fund) has reduced from 50% to 33%.

The government is hell bent on continuing the positive outcomes of these schemes in future. They’re positive that their efforts will help them accomplish the targets set for 2020.
