Rajasthan High Court Freed Shah Rukh Khan from Property Damage Case

    The Bollywood king khan finally had a sigh of relief when Rajasthan High Court asked the police not to commence any counter action against the celeb. This has been done in the reference of the complaint filed by Vikram Singh, accusing him for damaging the public property and causing unrest in the public during promotional undertakes of his film, “Raees”. This had happened during January month while he promoted his film riding in train. On contrary, the court has asked to issue notice to Vikram Singh.

    This order has been commenced after the actor appealed to scrap the FIR filed against him. The case was filed by a trolley vendor from Kota in the month of February. Various provisions of IPC, preventions of damage to public property and railways act were considered for his FIR.

    In defense of the actor, his counsel, Vivek Raj Bajwa mentioned that Shahrukh Khan paid Rs. 1,89,850 for utilizing the August Kranti Rajdhani Express and he even took the permission beforehand for conducting the promotions of the film.

    He even mentioned that, this FIR was filed to gain some publicity in the public’s eye.

    According to the Railways Act, no any private person can lodge complaint but only railways officials can do so.

    He explained the whole scenario, saying that Khan was at the gate of the August Kranti Rajdhani Express and tossed something at his fans. The mob rushed to get what he threw and in this hullabaloo, that person’s trolley items got damaged and he too got some injuries.

    The case was filed under sections 427 mischief causing damage to the amount of Rs 50, 120, criminal conspiracy, 147, rioting and 149. But, the recent orders are not considering any of it and the matter will be reconsidered after a span of 6 weeks.
