India is an agricultural based economy. Most of the population is dependent on agriculture for their livelihood. If the agriculture of the nation is not generating revenue then the whole economy suffers. Indian states cannot expect growth without prosperous agriculture. The economy of Rajasthan is also dependent on agriculture. Almost 65 percent of the population relies on good harvest. Considering this aspect the ruling state government has already announced a series of sops for the agriculture sector. Details of Kisan sammelans
BJP government is actively working for all sections of the society including farmers. It has implemented various policies at centre and state level for farmers. To make rural people aware of such policies, it will organize Kisan Sammelan’ in all assembly constituencies of Rajasthan in mid-September. Apart from this, there are plans of conventions of BJP five wings, dealing with the SCs, STs, OBCs, women and youths.
Talking about these farmers’ meets, they are meant to make public well aware of government policies. These Kisan sammelans aim at having good participation of farmers. The meets will take place at the divisional headquarters. The dates of the meets are not finalized yet.

As per the official sources, CM Vasundhara Raje and BJP national leaders would also take part in the meets. In these sammelans, leaders will come and talk about the farmer-friendly steps taken by the government.
In fact, CM Vasundhara Raje is expecting to hold Gaurav Sabhas in October in the assembly constituencies left out during the Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. CM Raje will not be covering all the constituencies during Rajasthan Gaurav yatra as they are in remote locations.
