Next CM of UP: The BJP witnessed a winning streak in India’s most populous state. While the Saffron Holi has started to celebrate and will continue till the weekend lasts, there is growing speculation about who will be the next CM of India’s largest state, UP.
Reportedly, BJP’s parliamentary board have scheduled a meeting for later Saturday. This meeting is essentially focused on fixation of next Chief Minister and other ancillary transactions.
Amidst the speculation which is abuzz in the market, here are 3 names which are most likely to grab the top name in UP Chief Minister.

Rajnath Singh
Holding the post of Home Minister, India’s Rajnath Singh is the strongest contender for the post of UP Chief Minister. THE 65 year old is known as the most affiliated BJP leader in Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, he is considered close to the RSS.
Mahesh Sharma
He is the first time member of Lok Sabha, and is also a practising doctor who owns the Kailash hospital in Noida. Considered as a leader who has close connections with the RSS, he makes a good contender for the post.
Dinesh Sharma
Initially elected as Lucknow’s mayor in 2008, Sharma reportedly has rapport with Amit Shah. Holding the post of national Vice President, he is the penultimate men in BJP.
These are just the speculated names in the expected lists of UP Chief Ministers. As a matter of fact, Narendra Modi is a box of surprises. He is not a cookie-cutter and hence any deviation from the speculations is most likely.
