Mukhyamantri Shahri Jankalyan Shivirs which received a thunderous opening on May 10 delivered impressive results. More than 1808 pattas were distributed in all 7 divisions of the state. Land-deprived and nomads have been benefitted incredibly by the patta vitran scheme.   

The Mukhyamantri Shahri Jankalyan Shivirs are already underway and will continue to resolve people’s issues until July 10.  These shivirs are conducted with an objective of quick solution of problems related to patta vitran and other issues of urban local bodies. The Shivirs will be organized from May 10 to July 10, 2017. In these shivirs colonies set-up on agriculture and siwaychak land will be regularized, plots auctioned by Urban Local Bodies shall be regularized and pattas shall be issued under State Grant Act.

Apart from this houses built on 90 square meter land without setback till 31 December 2015 shall be regularized, works related to re-organization and sub-division of plots and permission to construct houses will be given during these camps.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Rajendra Rathore informed that for quick solution of problems related to patta vitran and other issues of urban local bodies the Mukhyamantri Shahri Jankalyan Shivirs will be organized from May 10 to July 10, 2017.

In these shivirs colonies set-up on agriculture and siwaychak land will be regularized, pattas shall be issued under State Grant Act, plots auctioned by Urban Local Bodies shall be regularized.

The remaining lease amount and Urban Development tax (UDT) is being recovered by providing exemption in interest and transfer of Siwaychak land in the shivirs. During these Shivirs 50 square yards land allotment will be made for Gadia Lohars and other nomads free of cost.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Rajendra Rathore informed that total 23 types of works will be taken up in Shahri Jankalyan Yojana including regularization of schemes affected by the Sealing Act and Custodian land. Apart from this regularization of houses built on acquired land of Housing Board, PWD, Water Resource and Urban Bodies will be made.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister informed that looking at the wider public interest pattas of old housing colonies pending from years shall be issued under Shahri Jankalyan scheme. Free regularization will be made to Khatedaari holders who have built houses on 500 square meter land in urban periphery.

An empowered committee has been constituted to ensure speedy disposal of cases. This committee will redress public grievances. This committee has been empowered with powers of the Urban Local Bodies for quick disposal of the cases.

The land holders who have not taken pattas in the previous regularization camps shall be given pattas after charging additional 25 percent premium for one time. The maximum allotment limit for land slots (Khaancha Bhoomi) has been increased to 150 square yards.

More impressively, government is also extending complete exemption on interest payment of full payment of remaining lease amount and urban development tax. This shall encourage timely payments and ensure that people don’t worry about interest charges.
