Mukhyamantri Swachh Gram Yojna is onerous scheme from state government to keep the villages clean, healthy and beautiful .The scheme has been introduced in those gram panchayats of the state which are completely free from the sin of open-defecation. The scheme was inaugurated on January 6th, 2017 in Kanwarpura Mandwalan Gram Panchayat of Khanpura village by Shri krishan Patidar, Parliamentary Sachiv Shri Narendra Naagar, District chief Tina Kumari Bhil and District collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni.
Under this scheme, on daily basis, garbage will be collected from every house with the help of trolleys. That trolley will have two parts. Green portion will be for bio-degradable waste and red portion will be for non-biodegradable waste. They told that, in every gram panchayat, a cluster of 150 houses will be formed. For every cluster of houses and collection of waste and transportation, two workers will be appointed under Mahatama Gandhi Narega Scheme, for 100 days. Because of this, not only 30 people of Gram Panchayats will get the employment but the annual income of Gram Panchayat will also elevate.
The scheme is dedicated to expedite the cleanliness mission in the ODF Gram Panchayats under PM Modi’s Swachch Bharat Mission. For these ODF Gram Panchayats, an amount of Rs. 4.25 Crores will be allotted to Jila Parishad for the resources of the workers.
CM Raje mentioned that, PM Modi made the big announcement of making a clean India with the help of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Red Fort, Delhi. Resultantly, every person is in constant strive to make India and all states clean and healthy. Rajasthan government is fostering on making a healthy Rajasthan with introducing cleanliness in state, constructing toilets in schools and making the state free from open defecation. Not only this, a separate amount of fund has been decided from Sansad-Vidhayak kosh for the construction of toilets in schools and for their maintenance.
