Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje was in Deshnoke town of Bikaner on Saturday. Celebrating the World Conservation Day, CM inaugurated a historical Panorama and statue of Mata Karni in the temple dedicated to the goddess in Deshnoke. ‘Karni Mata is an inspiration for good governance and nature conservation. Karni Mata supported Gau Raksha and environmental protection for whole her life’ CM said. Raje urged ‘we should always remember our history and seek inspiration from it. ‘We are pledge to protect and convey our traditional values to next generations’ she added.

Rajasthan has an enormous history of the great people and their wisdom. People cherish and worship these legends as their folk deities. Karni Mata temple is world famous for the conservation of rats. Thousands of rats can be seen living in the temple and are revered by the devotees following summon by Karni Mata.
It shows that Mata Karni was fully devoted toward protecting nature. CM Raje said that our young generation should often visit these legendry places to stay connected with our great historical values. During this visit Raje worshipped and sought blessing from Mata Karni.
