The dashing man of all times, Akshay Kumar is called the money making man at the box office for a good reason. Well, a man who can beat the King of Bollywood is nothing short of a super-man in the Bollywood arena.
Despite of light promotions strategy clubbed with a not-so-popular actress in the lead, Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 released this Friday and it crashed the box office.
The film has been received well by the Indian masses, with only a dash of negative critics slamming the story line. If you are an Akshay’s fan, you would know that Akshay has broken revenue records with his stellar and unbeatable films like Airlift, Rustom, Entertainment among others.
This film was no exception too. On it’s maiden day, the film earned a whopping Rs. 13.20 crore. Not only this, the film featuring Aksay Kumar as a lawyer earned an ornamental Rs. 50 crore which is indeed note-worthy.
Jolly LLB 2 on the third day has collected 20 crore and defeated SRK’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil. On the third day, Raees collected while Kaabil 13. 11 crore and 9.77 crore respectively. The trailer of Jolly LLB 2 was worth the wait. After the trailer, it aroused enough curiosity among the public which drove incessantly to the theatre.
