Jaipuria Hospital of the pink city is soon going to be equipped with special facilities for its patients. With launch of new facilities, the hospital will be able to counterbalance the burden on Swai Man Singh government hospital. With the super speciality wing, the hospital will be equipped with facilities like, neurology, cardiology, neurosurgery, radiation, plastic surgery, gastroenterology and endocrinology.
On Monday, the health minister, Kalicharan Saraf inaugurated the super specialty wing of the Jaipuria hospital.
The health minister has assured that in coming 3 months, facilities like CT scan and MRI will be provided at the hospital. In coming six months, catherization laboratory will also be made available in the hospital.
Mr. Kalicharan Saraf also said that, MCH (Mother and Child Health) wing will also be introduced in the hospital very soon. The hospital already stands first in equipping with 1,000 LED lights to curb power consumption. These LED lights saved electricity worth Rs. 8 lakh. Apart from this, the hospital has interferential therapy machine, shortwave diathermy machine, paraffin wax path machine and also muscle stimulator machine. The hospitals bed capacity will multiply from 380 to 500. In emergency unit, they will have more beds from earlier 10 to 20 now. Thus, the hospital now has a fund amount of Rs. 11 lakh for this purpose which has been approved by the government.
Hospital wards will be equipped with CCTV cameras. Authorities will make sure to make available electricity, water and sewer lines in the hospital. This will cost up to Rs. 30 lakh to them. In this, hospital will also have new electricity cables stretched.
Currently the hospital is able to provide facilities like neurology, plastic surgery, radiation oncology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and cardiology. In very short time, the hospital will be equipped with all luxury medical facilities which is was only available at SMS hospital till now.
