Details about Dravyavati riverfront Dravyavati river
In fact, this riverfront is prepared on the lines of Sabarmati riverfront. In this riverfront, various features like open theatre, space for yoga and aerobics, cycling track, walking track and food kiosks for visitors are available. In this stretch, approximately 18000 trees will be planted. This riverfront is going to be new attraction of Jaipur city.

It is 47-km long riverfront. Till now, only 16 km has been completed. In this, three parks and walking and cycling tracks are ready. Under Green Thumb initiative, more than 4500 tress have been planted. The rest of the riverfront’s work will be undertaken in the coming weeks. Dravyavati river

This project was started two-years back at a budget of ₹ 1400 crore. For this project, Rajasthan government signed an agreement with TATA group for building the riverfront and maintaining it for the next 10 years. This project is unique as it aims at restoring a river from a “dry and arid landscape”.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will inaugurate the project and inauguration of Dravyawati Riverfront is to be held at Shipra Path Park. This inauguration will be held on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary i.e. 2nd October. Dravyavati river
